Supreme Court grants bail to five executives in 2G-spectrum case

The Supreme Court Wednesday granted bail to five corporate executives accused in the second generation (2G) spectrum allocation case

The Supreme Court Wednesday granted bail to five corporate executives accused in the second generation (2G) spectrum allocation case.

The five are Sanjay Chandra of Unitech Wireless, Vinod Goenka of Swan Telecom, as well as Reliance Group's Gautam Doshi, Surendra Pipara and Hari Nair.

An apex court bench of Justice G.S. Singhvi and Justice H.L. Dattu said all the five would be released on furnishing a surety of Rs.5 lakh each to the satisfaction of the trial court.
