Supriya Sule-led NCP (SP) delegation meets PM Modi, raises Maharashtra's issues

Supriya Sule has been opposing the FCRA Bill in its present form. On Saturday, she had said that foreign funding should not always be viewed with suspicion and urged the Centre to either withdraw the proposed legislation or refer it to a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC)

A delegation of Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) MPs, led by the party's working president Supriya Sule, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday and discussed various issues concerning Maharashtra.
All eight Lok Sabha MPs of the NCP (SP) were present during the meeting with the prime minister. The delegation raised issues related to Maharashtra and matters concerning their respective constituencies.
