<p>External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Thursday welcomed home Sonu, the Indian boy who went missing from Delhi six years ago and was traced in Bangladesh.</p>

<p>Sonu arrived in Delhi earlier on Thursday on a flight from Bangladesh. A senior official of the Indian High Commission in Dhaka went to Jessore in May to meet Sonu on the directive of Sushma Swaraj.</p>
<p>Swaraj said Sonu's DNA was matched with that of her mother and it was found positive.</p>

<p>As per reports, Sonu was staying in a child rehabilitation centre in Jessore. He was kidnapped from Delhi reportedly in 2010 and a man&nbsp;from Jessore recently contacted his family here and gave details about the whereabouts of the boy.</p>
<p>After the man from Bangladesh contacted the parents of Sonu, they approached the MEA seeking its help to rescue the boy.</p>
