Amid the clatter of all the desi anti-swine flu treatments, here comes the most imaginative one. A city-based drycleaner is offering an innovative chemical treatment for clothes that he claims can prevent the spread of the H1N1 virus causing the flu.
Dr A Srivastava, executive director of the dry-cleaning firm, claims a new anti-microbial treatment, which he is offering at no extra cost, kills bacteria and viruses in clothes.
"We come in contact with multiple viruses at home, at the work place and while travelling. Our anti-microbial treatment ensures all germs and viruses are eradicated while the clothes are being dry-cleaned. And this treatment doesn't harm the garments," said Dr Srivastava.
