Two Indian researchers have come up with cars that talk to each other to avoid accidents. The research was conducted by <a href="http://www.theengineer.co.uk/Articles/312272/Car+communication+.htm">Dr Bhibhya Sharma and Dr Utesh Chand</a>. These scientists are not the only ones working on a talking car. Apparently, researchers at the <a href="http://www.wired.com/autopia/2009/02/talking-cars-co/">University of South Australia</a> are also working on a talking car, as is the <a href="http://lucachittaro.nova100.ilsole24ore.com/2008/04/talking-cars-an.html">Stanford University</a>. But the idea is not new, and has been <a href="http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/techinnovations/2005-11-09-intelligent-cars_x.htm">discussed</a> way back in 2005. And if you want to see the funny side of talking cars, you could check out these <a href="http://www.cartoonstock.com/directory/t/talking_cars.asp">cartoons</a>.
