Suraj Salvi was returning home at Bopodi chowk last night when he met with an accident that was the result of some bikers' idea of fun. Salvi suffered a leg fracture.

The teenager had been walking along the pavement leading to his slum residence when three youngsters on a bike slowed down near him. They asked Salvi annoying questions to harass him.

Salvi ignored their questions and kept walking. The bikers, who were left behind, suddenly gathered speed and approached him.

Salvi said there was a big stone on the road and the bikers crashed into it and lost control of their vehicle. The bike hit Salvi, who fell down and rolled for a little distance."I was writhing in pain, but none of the three helped me. They took their bike and ran away. Luckily, I was close to home and some people came and rushed me to hospital. My family was informed by the crowd gathered there," said Salvi.

Doctors at YCM hospital conducted an X-ray on Salvi. and said he suffered a leg fracture, besides injuries.
