Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao accused the BJP and Congress of colluding to limit his political influence and prevent the expansion of the BRS into Maharashtra. Rao alleged that both parties fear him and are working together against him.

Addressing a poll rally, Rao attacked both the national parties alleging that Telangana was ruined during the Congress rule while the BJP-led Central Government has not sanctioned even a single medical college or Navodaya School to the state.
