The movement of trucks is also not allowed on this road, and traffic will be diverted to Devanahalli towards Dobbaspet and Hoskote on NH207 for the next five days. People travelling to the Bangalore International Airport (BIAL) from the eastern part of Bangalore such as Koramangala, Indiranagar and Whitefield, are advised not to use Bellary Road. They should instead use the Outer Rind Road, and take the right turn at Hennur Cross or Nagavara Cross up to Settyhalli Cross to converge on to Devanahalli Road. This is to ensure segregation of traffic moving to and from the airport and the air show. Commuters travelling from the north and west to BIAL from Vijayanagar, Rajajinagar, Peenya, Yeshwantpur, Malleswaram etc, should take a left turn at BEL Circle and continue on to Major Unnikrishnan Road, Yelahanka, Kogilu Cross and Bellary road, to avoid congestion up to Hebbal junction.If this is followed, there won't be any traffic congestion, said ACP (Traffic and Security) Praveen Sood.u00a0A dedicated lane for the buses to BIAL is provided on Bellary road on the opposite side of the median between Bagalur cross and Hunasemaranahalli junction. Commuters are strongly advised to use BMTC buses, which will ply from various parts of the city till ADVA parking area (P9).Parking for pass holders will be available inside the Air Force Station on a first-come-first-served basis.After the show, commuters who have parked at Venkatala and ADVA parking should proceed along NITTE Meenakshi College Road towards Doddaballapur road and further into the city, via Major Unnikrishnan road. Vehicles will not be allowed to U-turn back onto Bellary road.Keeping them awayTo keep birds away from the airspace near the venue, the BBMP has taken precautionary measures. The dump yard is being kept under covers to discourage attracting birds.u00a0Garbage clearance in the city will be remain normal, and the trucks carrying the city's garbage will be dumping at the yard. Garbage dumped there over the next five days will also be covered and sprayed with chemicals to keep birds and insects away from the area to ensure that the zone is safe for the show to go on, said BBMP PRO, S S Khandre. The exhibitors Embraer: On display will be the largest line-up of executive jets it has ever displayed at an air show in India. The static display at the show will consist of a Phenom 100, Phenom 300, Lineage 1000 and the latest jet in its suiteu00a0-- the Legacy 650, which was certified in October 2010. Boeing: Boeing's exhibits will feature large-scale models, interactive displays, a P-8I mobile console, and an F/A-18E/F Super Hornet simulator. Included with other defense capabilities being highlighted will be the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, AH-64D Apache, CH-47F Chinook, ScanEagle and weapons. The company also will feature commercial airplanes such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, 777, 747-8 passenger and freighter series, and the best-selling Next-Generation 737. It will present the capabilities of its advanced, combat-proven, multirole F/A-18E/F Super Hornet strike fighteru00a0-- with a full weapons payloadu00a0-- and conduct customer orientation flights. Visitors will also see the C-17 Globemaster III military transport and, making its international debut, a representation of the Super Hornet International Roadmap, which will be on static display.u00a0Gulfstream: Will display two of its large-cabin business jets at the show. The company's static display will feature the large-cabin, ultra-long-range Gulfstream G550 and the large-cabin, long-range G450.
