Varun Grover tweeted: ‘If he wins, Jaswant Singh will be our first Vice President who wears shirts with buttons on his shoulders.’ There was this comment from Vivek Chandan: ‘I can think of no better candidate than Jaswant Singh for the dignified post of VP: Highly erudite, highly experienced and highly deserving.’ And from a certain Shekhar: ‘Jaswant Singh’s nomination for VP is like posthumous recognition of his political career after the NDA themselves killed it two years ago.’
