Three arrested for possessing deer meat in Goa

<p>Three people were Monday arrested by the Goa forest department for trying to sell 50 kg of deer meat in a village near here, an official said.</p>

Panaji: Three people were Monday arrested by the Goa forest department for trying to sell 50 kg of deer meat in a village near here, an official said.
A forest department spokesperson said the three people - Amol Naik, Ashish Bandekar and Shantaram Naik, all in their mid-20s - hail from the forested village of Pernem in north Goa.
