<div>An accident that took place near Lokamanya Hospital in Pradhikaran area in Nigadi yesterday claimed the lives of three BPO employees. The trio died on the spot after they knocked into a grade separator in the area. u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div>The police identified the deceased as Thane resident Ketan Mahesh Agarwal (25), Vile Parle resident Ameya Gangadhar Lele (28) and Haryana resident Paramjeet Dalal. Though the police suspect the three were under the influence of alcohol, they said only medical reports could ascertain that.</div><div><br /></div><div>The accident took place around 3 am when the three persons were approaching Tilak chowk from Bhel chowk.u00a0Dismissing claims that the trio was in an inebriated state, Mahesh Agarwal, Ketan's father, said that his son was not a person who would party late into the night.u00a0Chetan Thombare, Ketan's friend, said, "Ketan recently shifted to the city on November 29 after he got a promotion."u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div>Thombare, who had received a call from Ketan in the night, said, "I was the last person to receive his call, I was travelling so I told him that I would call once I reach home. But I forgot and now I am repenting it."u00a0Chetan said Ketan had completed a three-year diploma and was working in a BPO to support his family.</div><div><br /></div><div>Gangadhar Lele, Amey's father, said his son was working with TCS since the past five years and was transferred to the city only two months ago. Amey is survived by his parents and a married sister. He was a Std XII pass out. Police officials said Dalal's brother Rakesh informed them the family would be leaving for the city.</div><div><br /></div><div>Sub-Inspector R P Desh-mukh, who was on night duty on Saturday, said she received a call from the control room informing her about the incident. She said, "Lele, Agarwal and Dalal were on a bike. We suspect they were going full-speed, as the bike hit the electric pole and the hoarding on the grade separator. The bike skidded and trio hit their heads on the separator."u00a0</div>
