Three jawans of the Indian Army were injured on January 9, 2018, during a practice drill for the Army Day in New Delhi on January 15.
The incident occurred due to helicopter boom malfunction. The incident took place when the jawans descended from a helicopter with a rope which snapped - plummeting the jawans to the ground, as reported by <a title="Army Jawan" href="http://zeenews.india.com/delhi/shocking-army-jawans-fall-from-helicopter-during-practice-2073154.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Zee News.</a>
An official from the Indian Army said that all the 3 jawans are safe and further investigation is underway.
