Srinagar: Three militants were killed in a fierce gun-battle with Army troops along the LoC in north Kashmir today. 

On specific information about presence of a group of militants, troops launched an operation along the LoC in Keran forward area in Kupwara district this morning, a Defence Spokesman said.
