More than 250 to-be grooms, belonging to the Patel Community, recently took part in a cycle rally, along with their relatives.
This was their unique way of creating awareness relating to traffic congestion and pollution in Surat in Gujarat. Through the rally, to-be grooms want to promote traffic awareness and a healthy lifestyle.
According to reports, while Surat is in the list of 100 &lsquo;Smart cities&rsquo; chosen by the Centre, the pollution levels in the city have been rising drastically post Diwali.
