Intended to benchmark the Cine-club theme for October: Queer Cinema, Delhi is hosting a discussion panel on the legal and historical context of homosexuality in Commonwealth countries where it seeks to examine a specific engagement with Commonwealth history, one which is free of all the flaws and blemishes. 
Called 'Commonwealth Queers: Past, Present, and Future' this is an evening of enlightening debate on the nature of sodomy laws, the changing engagement towards same-sex unions in the present, and the implications of legal judgements for the future.u00a0 Robert Wintemute (Professor of Human Rights Law, King's College London) who specialises in the Human Rights Law and Sexual Orientation, is coming down to the capital to share his views.
