A train ticket inspector fractured his hand when a conductor kicked him out of a city bus over a quarrel.

K L Michael, working in southern railway, said the conductor insisted that he move inside the bus. "The bus was over crowded and there was no space. Since my leg had been operated on, I preferred to stand near the driver to avoid being stepped on," he said in the complaint.

But the conductor was in no mood to listen and used abusive language. When Michael warned him against using such language, the conductor pulled him out and a scuffle broke out.

By this time, the bus had reached Shivajinagar bus stand and the conductor kicked Michael so hard that he was thrown out of the bus. Sensing danger, the conductor managed to escape. People, along with the beat police, rushed to Michael's help and shifted him to Bowring Hospital.

Michael said he did not know the name of the conductor nor had he taken down the number of the bus. However, he handed over the ticket to the police.
