Twisha Sharma death case: Bhopal court sends husband, mother-in-law to 14-day judicial custody

A Bhopal court has sent Twisha Sharma's husband, Samarth Singh, and mother-in-law, Giribala Singh, to 14-day judicial custody in the alleged dowry harassment and death case. The order came after the completion of their five-day CBI remand. The agency said it may seek further police remand if required

A Bhopal court on Tuesday sent Twisha Sharma's husband, Samarth Singh, and mother-in-law, former district judge Giribala Singh, to 14-day judicial custody in connection with the alleged dowry harassment and death case.

Earlier in the day, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) produced Samarth Singh and Giribala Singh before the court following the completion of their five-day custodial remand in connection with 33-year-old Sharma’s death.
