Two Army personnel injured in landmine blast during disposal operation in Poonch

Two Army personnel were injured after a landmine exploded during a disposal operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. The explosive device was detected by an Army patrol in the Mendhar sector, while a separate Army operation safely destroyed an unexploded grenade found during road construction work

Two soldiers injured in landmine explosion in J&K’s Poonch.(PIC/IASN)

Two soldiers were injured while trying to defuse a landmine in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, said officials on Thursday. 

The officials said the soldiers were trying to defuse the landmine at Kanga Gali in Mendhar sector on Wednesday night when it went off.
