On Friday morning, two children in Nagpur were charred to death. According to an agency report, the two children lost their lives in a house fire near the Gourkhede Complex in the Seminary Hills area.&nbsp;
The agency report stated that the Nagpur Police confirmed victims' identities; the two deceased were identified as 7-year-old Devas and 2-year-old Prabhas.
When the fire was reported, both fire trucks and a police team arrived on the scene right away. The current state of the dousing operation was not officially notified at the time of this article. Further information is awaited.
Meanwhile, in another mishap, in the early hours of Friday, a container truck toppled and caught fire in Thane city, killing one person, an official said. According to the statement of the chief of Thane Municipal Corporation's&nbsp;Disaster Management Cell Yasin Tadvi, the incident happened at roughly 2.35 am on the Ghodbunder Road next to Hiranandani Estate/&nbsp;
The TMC official further said that the vehicle overturned and it caught fire. Reportedly, the firefighters managed to extinguish the fire after nearly an hour of attempting to douse the fire. They later recovered a charred body from the spot.&nbsp;
According to the official, the body has been taken to a government-run hospital for a post-mortem and that their identity is yet to be established.&nbsp;
Following the collision, he added, there was a roughly three-hour pause in traffic on the heavily travelled highway, the PTI report stated.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Police has filed an FIR after a fire in a residential building in Pitampura left six people dead and injured five. According to the report, the fire broke out in the multi-storey building on Thursday evening.&nbsp;
The cops have filed a case under sections&nbsp;304A (causing death by negligence), 285 (negligent conduct) and 336 (endangering lives) of the Indian Penal Code at the Maurya Enclave Police station, PTI report stated.&nbsp;
Reportedly, six people, including four women from two different families died in the blaze. They were renting the units on first, second and third floors of the building.&nbsp;
The deceased were identified as Rakesh Gupta (62), Renu Gupta (62), Shweta (30), Shanu Verma (27), Santosh (25) and Kirti (25).
Meanwhile, the cause of fire is being probed still, the report added.&nbsp;
