Last night at 10.30 pm, in a hit and run case, a two wheeler was knocked down by a speeding car on the International Airport Road near Sanjaynagar cross, injuring two of them.

Two friends Naveen and Prasad, residents of Kempapura, were on their way to attend a wedding in Palace Guttahalli but they couldn't make it as they were hit by a speeding car.

As soon as the car hit the bike both fell down and the bike was dragged for about 20 feet.

Naveen and Prasad both suffered facial injuries and were bleeding. Prasad, who had lost his consciousness for few minutes, was in a state of shock and unable to talk.

A traffic constable and the public rushed to help the two. They arranged for an ambulance and the two were later admitted to Baptist Hospital for treatment.

Eyewitnesses were unable to note down the number of the car as it fled from the scene within seconds of knocking down the bike.
