<p>In a statement, the <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/mea-says-india-helping-stranded-citizens-in-iran-amid-west-asia-conflict-23620534" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Ministry of External Affairs</a> said, &ldquo;The attack on Fujairah that resulted in injury to three Indian nationals is unacceptable," reported IANS.</p>
<p>It urged an immediate halt to violence and emphasised the need to protect innocent civilians.</p>
<h2>Push for Dialogue and Regional Stability</h2>
<p>India reiterated its stance in favour of diplomacy, stating that it &ldquo;continues to stand for dialogue and diplomacy&rdquo; to restore peace and stability across <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/world-news/article/west-asia-conflict-highlights-they-want-to-make-a-deal-trump-says-he-is-reviewing-irans-14-point-proposal-23628625" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">West Asia</a>, reported IANS.</p>
<h2>Concern Over Strait of Hormuz Navigation</h2>
<p>The MEA also stressed the importance of free and unimpeded navigation through the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law.</p>
<p>India expressed readiness to support all efforts aimed at a peaceful resolution.</p>
<h2>Indian Embassy Assisting Injured Nationals</h2>
<p>Earlier, the Embassy of India, <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/world-news/article/us-israel-attack-iran-flights-from-dubai-abu-dhabi-to-india-resume-bringing-relief-to-stranded-passengers-23619043" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Abu Dhabi</a> said it is in touch with local authorities to ensure proper medical care and welfare of the injured Indian nationals.</p>
<h2>UAE Blames Iran for Attack</h2>
<p>The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned what it termed &ldquo;renewed unprovoked Iranian aggression&rdquo; involving missiles and drones, holding Iran responsible for the attack on civilian sites.</p>
<h2>Attack Violates International Law, Says UAE</h2>
<p>The UAE said the attack poses a direct threat to its security, stability, and territorial integrity, and violates international law and the Charter of the United Nations.</p>
<h2>UAE Reserves Right to Respond</h2>
<p>The <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/world-news/article/west-asia-war-uae-says-it-intercepted-large-scale-iranian-missile-drone-attack-23628898" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">UAE</a> asserted that it will not tolerate threats to its sovereignty and reserves the right to respond in a manner consistent with international law to protect its citizens, residents, and infrastructure.</p>
<h2>Call for Immediate De-escalation</h2>
<p>The UAE reiterated the need to halt all hostilities immediately and ensure compliance with international norms, holding Iran accountable for the attack and its consequences.</p>
<p>The UAE's National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) issued a public advisory on X, stating, "Air defence systems are currently responding to a missile threat. Please remain in a safe location and follow official channels for warnings and updates".</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/world-news/article/west-asia-war-us-launches-project-freedom-to-escort-ships-out-of-strait-of-hormuz-23628730" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Strait of Hormuz</a>, through which roughly one-fifth of the world's oil and gas pass, remains a major sticking point in the talks. Shipping through the narrow Gulf waterway has been severely disrupted by the conflict, triggering a sharp increase in oil prices and energy shortages in several countries.</p>
