UP polls: EC bans Telangana BJP MLA T Raja Singh from campaigning for 72 hours

The Election Commission has banned Telangana BJP MLA T Raja Singh from campaigning in the UP assembly election for 72 hours. The 72-hour ban began at 6 pm on Saturday.

The poll body has also directed the chief electoral officer, Telangana, to register an FIR against Singh under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Representation of the People Act.
