UP third phase poll registers 42% voting

<p>An average of 12 per cent voting has been recorded in the first two hours of polling in the third phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly election on Sunday, Election Commission (EC) officials said</p>
Lucknow: Forty-two per cent voting has been recorded in the first six hours of polling in the third phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections on Sunday, the Election Commission (EC) officials said.
As of 1 p.m., 43 per cent voting was reported from Sitapur, 32 per cent from Kanpur city, 44 per cent from Kannauj, 30 per cent in Auraiyya, 41 per cent in Kanpur rural and 38 per cent in Unnao districts.
