Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) prime ministerial candidate L K Advani yesterdayu00a0accused the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government of having "outsourced" foreign relations to the Left parties and "helped" the growth of Maoists in Nepal.

Speaking at a rally in the city in support of BJP candidates, Advani said the government had "outsourced" foreign relations activity to the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M), which along with three other Left parties supported the UPA government for four years.
