Getting selected to the elite bureaucratic circles of the country might just get easier for lakhs of aspirants in the country.u00a0 All over the country, civil service candidates can now appear for their personality test interview in any recognised regional language of their choice.
In response to a PIL filed by civil services aspirant Chittaranjan Kumar in the Bombay High Court in 2008, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) filed an affidavit in the high court stating interviews would be conducted in official Indian regional languages besides Hindi and English.
