The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Thursday postponed the civil services preliminary examination, scheduled to be held in June, to October 10 in view of the alarming Covid-19 situation.

Before this, the Commission had also postponed interviews of the Civil Services Examination, 2020 (scheduled from Scheduled from May 26, 2021 to June 18, 2021) because of the steep rise in cases. However, fresh dates of the interview will be intimated in due course.
