US and India want stability, rule of law to prevail in Pakistan: Ambassador Garcetti in Mumbai

“We stay engaged with Pakistan because of that. I think that serves India and the US and the world. We hope that the rule of law and peace will prevail over the border. But that is up to the Pakistani people to decide,” he said

The newly appointed United States Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti Wednesday said the United States and India, and the world want stability in Pakistan, adding that he hopes there won't be unrest in the country.
The Ambassador also said that he was impressed with the progress India has made in the last three decades.
