Husband, brother-in-law booked for alleged dowry death of 22-year-old woman in Uttar Pradesh's Ballia

Police have booked a man and his elder brother for allegedly strangling his 22-year-old wife to death over dowry demands in Uttar Pradesh's Ballia district, an official told news agency PTI on Wednesday.
The woman's family alleged that she was strangled to death on July 7 after facing nearly a year of harassment over dowry.
