The Covid-19 vaccination for all beneficiaries in the 12-14 age group will begin from March 16, National Vaccination Day, at all government Covid vaccination centres. The vaccine to be administered would be Corbevax, manufactured by Biological E. Limited, Hyderabad, said Rajesh Bhushan, Union Health Secretary, in a virtual meeting with all states and UTs on Tuesday.

The online registration for vaccination will start at 9 am, The states and UTs have been advised to ensure that only those who have attained the age of 12 years on the date of vaccination are vaccinated against Covid-19.
