The police decided to press attempt to kidnap charge against Vikas Barala and another person, who had allegedly stalked and tried to abduct the daughter of an IAS officer, officials said.

Vikas, son of Haryana BJP chief Subhash Barala, and the other accused were arrested by the police. &ldquo;We have pressed two charges against the accused - Sections 365 and 511 of IPC. We have decided to arrest both accused, and they will be produced before court tomorrow where we will press for police custody,&rdquo; Chandigarh DGP Tejinder Singh Luthra told media persons.
DGP Luthra earlier in the day said that both the accused in the Chandigarh stalking case had refused to give their blood and urine sample for the investigation.
23-year-old Vikas and the other accused Ashish Kumar had appeared before the police for questioning in connection with the alleged stalking case filed by the 29-year-old woman.
Keep boys at home at nights Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kirron Kher on Wednesday dispensed advice saying that the same rules and restriction should be imposed on both boys and girls, when it comes to safety. &ldquo;Every boy should be kept inside the house at night since that is when problems are being created. Why is there danger at night and not during the day? They should tell boys not to go out at night too,&rdquo; Kher told the media outside Parliament.
