Listen to this article :
For the first time in its history, the University of Pune (UoP) presented a whopping Rs 529.75 crore budget for the financial year 2013-14. However, like the past three years, this year too is a deficit budget (Rs 117.82 crore).
Soon after the UoP management council member Dattatraya Balsaraf presented the budget, several senate members raised objections and alleged that it’s merely a number game and will be a failure when the time of actual utilisation of funds comes.
