Voting percentage of Mumbai's transgenders surpassed the regular voters category

In Mumbai, which has a total 23.80 lakh voters in the two constituencies of South Mumbai and South Central Mumbai, the voting percentage of the third gender surpassed the regular voters category. The total voting percentage of male and female combined in Mumbai comprising of 10 assembly constituencies was 53.50 per cent, whereas the voting percentage of the third gender was 59.15. There were a total of 71 voters belonging to the others category and 42 of them voted. Whereas there were 13.26 lakh male voters, but only 7.13 lakh voted, and of the 10.59 lakh female voters only 5.65 lakh voted.
