The police in West Bengal's Murshidabad on Saturday recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from the residence of a local Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader from Baharampur town in the district.

The officials said, “Trinamool Congress leader Papai Ghosh, who is the Baharampur town president of the Trinamool Congress Youth Wing, had various charges against him earlier during the previous Mamata Banerjee-led state government, including a marauder charge in 2017,” as cited by IANS.
