Among districts, Purba Bardhaman reported the highest turnout at 92.46 per cent, followed by Hooghly (90.34 per cent), Nadia (90.28 per cent) and Howrah (89.44 per cent)

The final phase of polling in the West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026 concluded at 6 pm on Wednesday, recording an impressive voter turnout of around 90 per cent before the close of voting, reported the ANI.

The strong turnout reflects high public engagement as polling for all 294 seats of the state assembly came to an end. The counting of votes is scheduled for May 4.
