The median road beneath the 11 km-long Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar (VAG) metro line is supposed to be a beautiful flowerbed. But four years after work began, the road is still being used as a dumping ground. As debris piles up, MMRDA and Mumbai Metro One (MMOPL) authorities feign ignorance
It seems that the Mumbai Metropolitan Region DevelopmentAuthority (MMRDA) and Mumbai Metro One Private Limited (MMOPL) are not aware of the goings-on along the 11.07-km Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar (VAG). Both agencies seem unaware that the flowerbed, which has been constructed on the median of the road beneath the metro carriageway, is being used to dump debris.

Debris is routinely being dumped on the VAG corridor median road, which is meant for flowerbeds
