Wipro Ltd posted a net profit of Rs 1,217 crore for the third quarter (October-December) of this fiscal (2009-10), registering 21 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth, as per the Indian accounting standard.

In a regulatory filing on Wednesday, the Indian IT bellwether said its consolidated revenue for the quarter under review (Q3), grew by five per cent YoY to Rs 6,966 crore, as per the Indian accounting standard.
