B.S. Yeddyurappa will continue as Karnataka chief minister, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced Wednesday.
"After consultation with party leaders, the party has decided Yeddyurappa will continue as the chief minister of Karnataka," party spokesperson Prakash Javadekar told reporters.
Yeddyurappa is facing allegations of favouring his close relatives with prime land in Karnataka and the opposition has been demanding his ouster.
