A 20-year-old youth was beaten to death in Mayur Vihar Phase III in East Delhi. Police said the body of deceased, identified as Manoj, was found by a petrol pump attendant who then informed them on Wednesday.
"The reason behind his murder is not known yet.

The accused had tried to disfigure the face of the deceased," said a police official. Sources said on Tuesday Manoj's brother had an argument with their neighbours over some petty issue after which both the parties were taken to New Ashok Nagar police station. Manoj reached there to help his brother but was threatened of dire consequences by the neighbours.
