The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) on Tuesday staged a protest march towards the BJP headquarters in Delhi, demanding the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah over alleged police brutality against students during the July 20 protest at Jantar Mantar.
The protesters began their march from the Delhi Congress office on DDU Marg as police stepped up security in the area. Barricades were placed along the route and buses were stationed to transport those detained during the demonstration.
