Nashik (Maha): A 22-year-old youth, who had several cases registered against him, was shot dead allegedly by unidentified persons here, police said on Sunday.

Ajinkya Chavan was shot at Upendra Nagar area in the Cidco locality at around 11.30 PM last night by unidentified persons, Inspector Madhukar Kad of Ambad police station said.
