YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy walks out of jail to rousing reception

YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy today stepped out of Chanchalguda jail 16 months after his arrest in a disproportionate assets case to lusty cheers and rose petal showers by his jubilant supporters.

The MP from Kadapa emerged from Chanchalguda Central Jail at 4 p.m. amid tumultuous scenes outside. With folded hands, he greeted hundreds of supporters who had gathered at the main gate to welcome him.

A designated CBI court had yesterday granted bail to the 40-year-old leader who is in jail since his arrest on May 27, 2012.
