I am touring nine cities, interacting with students and talking about my new book Terror on The Titanic: A Morningstar Agency Adventure. u00a0 It's been twelve years since I've been to any school and I was surprised by how things have changed. u00a0 Take yesterday for example when I asked how many students liked history, more than 20u00a0 raised their hands without there being any incentive or pressure to do so. <img alt="" src="/imagedata/2010/jul/Samit.jpg" border="5" /> In my days, barely one or two would have done so and that too because they were the teacher's pet. I asked how many liked reading and I was pleasantly surprised. u00a0 We blame televisions, the Internet and video games for a certain dumbing down, but I saw that this is not true at all. It's great that kids can make time for pleasure despite all the pressure.
