A report in this paper said the 36-year-old suffered from acute obesity since birth, and has been bed-ridden for the past 13 years.
A well-known bariatric surgeon from Mumbai will supervise her treatment. After some rigmarole, Abdulati has managed to get a visa and is expected to arrive in the city in the next few days.
