My 22- year-old maid came home yesterday and proudly showed me a few gold coins. Astonished about how she managed to get so much gold, I asked her for an explanation. <br /><br />Apparently, she has been working and saving up since she was 11. Today, almost a decade later, she doesn't want to be a burden to her parents, so, she saves every penny of the paltry amount she makes working at four homes.<br /><br />For an uneducated girl from a remote village, her fierce independence took me by surprise and left me in awe of her ideologies.
