As I speak, thoughts of legendary Hindustani classical vocalist, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, are on my mind. His demise is a great loss for the nation. I write this poem in his reverence.

As your voice easily soars
Eases stress, all worldly sores
It takes all the turns and rounds
Your divine voice surpasses every good around
Like water that calms the soul
Like universe, that holds us and the whole
Within your voice a billion emotions lie
A billion ideas, prayers and blessings
A voice and prayer so true, even a lie can't lie
