Political argument should not demolish the difference of private liberty and social obligations. Indians must not forget their culture. Young women, who flock the pubs at nights have no moral values and are promoting such immoralities by drinking in public. If we go unchecked by these arguments then every commercial sex worker can operate from her house in any building or locality and claimu00a0 it is her right to do so. The development rules for professionals using residences for professional work also apply to commercial sex workers, don't they? No one has a right to do anything in public that hurts the sentiments of the society. Cigarette smoking is prohibited in public, but not restricted in private. This should be applicable to drinking as well.u00a0u00a0 There should be a social debate on this issue and not a political blame game.
