Ana Maria Perez Gonzalez, said to be one of the oldest women in the world, died here this week. She was 119.

The spokesman for the state employees benefits agency in the western state of Colima, Jose Armando Naranjo, told EFE that Perez died on Tuesday from "generalised septicemia, pneumonia and cardiac problems".
