Dhaka: A 27-year-old Bangladeshi blogger was today hacked to death by machete-wielding three suspected Islamists with two of them being arrested here, a month after a prominent American writer was killed in a similar manner in the national capital.

Washiqur Rahman Mishu was stabbed to death in broad day light in Tejgaon Industrial area of Dhaka this morning. "He died on the spot as the assailants attacked him with machetes...Doctors declared him dead when he was brought to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital," a police official told PTI.
