A massive fire at a girls’ boarding school in Kenya killed at least 16 people and left 73 hospitalised after flames engulfed a dormitory in Nakuru County early Thursday. Authorities have launched rescue and investigation efforts as panicked parents gathered outside the school

A fire in a girls' school dormitory in Kenya on Thursday has left 16 dead and 73 hospitalised, a police source told AFP.
The fire broke out at around 1:00 am local time in Utumishi Girls Academy in Nakuru County, around 120 kilometres (75 miles) north of the capital Nairobi, local media said.
