The pilot killed after his plane crashed into Beijing’s tallest building on June 26 was a 66-year-old man with the surname Liu, officials in Beijing said on Thursday.

“Liu, a Beijing native, had suffered from insomnia, and anxiety, an official said, adding that the cause of the incident was “personal reasons.”
